Laksa is a hugely popular dish with many variations. Come with chef Wanitha Tanasingam on a journey to discover the soul food of Nonya (Chinese Malaysian) cuisine. Learn the 2 basic types of laksa and the 3 essential pastes that result from the marriage of Indian, Muslim and Chinese cultures.

Learn to make authentic, amazing Asam Laksa (or Penang Laksa, listed at number 7 on World’s 50 most delicious foods complied by CNN Go in 2011) plus mild creamy chicken. Have fun while you learn to blend the spices and herbs to recreate traditional flavours.

As always, classes are suitable for novices as well as experienced cooks. Teaching style: demonstration with hands-on.
