Cooking Class Information

For individuals and smaller groups, book into one of our scheduled cooking classes. Most classes are $149 per person (inc GST).

Either way, on the day, come to the venue and the fun begins.

All classes are hands-on, so come ready to cook.

  • We provide loaner aprons for the class, or you can buy a high-quality VictorsFood apron for only $22.00 inc GST.
  • Cooking classes are mostly hands-on, keeping demonstration to a minimum.
  • We limit our classes to only 8 people, giving you total individual attention. You’ll get to see everything and get involved.
  • In each class we work together to make a number of dishes so expect to sit down to a banquet at the end of amazing dishes to celebrate what you learned.
  • BYO wine (a glass of wine is also provided during the class).
  • Closed shoes are required when cooking.

We give everyone copies of the recipes and photos so you can share your cooking experience with others.

We host our Sydney cooking classes in at a number of venues local to Danks Street, Waterloo, NSW.

Booking A Class

Booking a cooking class with us is easy! To book online, simply click the Register button next to the class of your choice via our Class Schedule page. Fill in your basic details and then pay through Paypal. We use a secure PayPal Shopping Cart. You do not need a PayPal account to make a payment, but you will need a credit card – no surcharge is charged.

Then arrange payment by EFT, Visa/Mastercard (3% surcharge) or American Express/JCB (3.7% surcharge).

VictorsFood Gift Vouchers: can be used for classes booked during the valid period.

Class FAQs

The class includes tuition, ingredients, recipes, hands-on cooking, a glass of wine (BYO wine if you would like a bit more with your meal) and a meal. When the cooking is done, you enjoy the feast you’ve created along with some new friends, so leave yourself time to enjoy this.
We have worked with people who can’t even boil an egg, so don’t fret. Our Presenters are trained chefs and patient teachers; they will have you chopping, dicing and sizzling in no time all with good humour and your experience level in mind.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies. We will do our best to accommodate you, although not all dishes will be suitable. Make sure you talk to Victor at the class to be clear about what will be okay for you to eat.
Wear closed, low-heeled shoes. We will loan you an apron (or you can buy a top quality VictorsFood apron for $22.00 (incl. GST).
The class starts promptly at 11am, please try to arrive 5 minutes early to allow time to settle in.
Classes are scheduled to end at 2pm, but they sometimes run a bit over as people often enjoy lingering over their food and conversation with newfound friends.

Yes. We will send you an invoice with details to complete the payment. If you are paying EFT, please let us know so we can confirm when it comes into the account, and remember to put your name and the invoice reference in the memo.
Unfortunately, because of the cost of ingredients and preparation, if you cancel within 7 days of a class we still require payment of any outstanding amounts; no refunds will be issued for payments already made. Cancellation by you more than 7 days before a class will get a full credit for another class; but, it’s better to send someone in your place. Domestic food tours require a minimum of 14 days notice for changes.
